Behind Aloha Pikake Designz are two women, two creative styles, and one shared vision.

We’re Armanda and Leinaʻala, a mother–daughter team with roots in Hawaiʻi and a new chapter being written here in Georgia. Aloha Pikake was created from our love for family, creativity, and making things that carry meaning beyond what you see on the surface.

Our roles may look a little different—one of us is usually surrounded by fabric and a sewing machine while the other is somewhere designing, printing, planning the next collection, or changing an idea for the tenth time—but together, those two sides have become Aloha Pikake Designz.

For us, this business is about more than what we make. It's about where we come from, the people who shaped us, and carrying those pieces of home with us wherever life takes us.

Armanda Figueroa

Owner • Seamstress • Maker

Armanda is the owner of Aloha Pikake Designz and the heart of our handmade work.

Her creativity comes to life through fabric. From choosing prints and pairing colors to sitting behind her sewing machine and watching a piece slowly take shape, she brings patience, care, and attention to detail into everything she creates.

She is the maker behind our handmade bags, baby sets, and sewn pieces, but what she creates goes beyond simply making a product. Each piece passes through her hands from beginning to end, which means no two handmade pieces will ever carry quite the same story.

For Armanda, sewing is also part of something much bigger—family, creativity, and generations of women creating with their hands.

That spirit has become an important part of Aloha Pikake. Whether she's creating a bag someone will carry every day or a baby set that may become part of a family's earliest memories, her hope is that what leaves her sewing table becomes something meaningful in someone else's life.

Leina’ala Figueroa

Co-Owner • Designer • Creative Director

Leinaʻala is the co-owner of Aloha Pikake Designz and leads the design, apparel, storytelling, and creative direction of the brand.

For her, creativity usually begins with a story.

A memory from home. A phrase that means something. Family. Culture. A place. A feeling. Or sometimes simply an idea that won't leave her alone until she finds a way to bring it to life.

Growing up in Hawaiʻi continues to influence the way she creates, even as life has brought her to Georgia. Rather than leaving one home behind for another, her designs often reflect the connection between the two—the roots that raised her and the life she is building now.

Through Aloha Pikake, Leinaʻala develops collections, creates designs, prints apparel, and shapes the visual direction and storytelling of the brand. Her goal isn't simply to put another design on a shirt. She wants the pieces Aloha Pikake creates to mean something to the person wearing or carrying them.

Because sometimes home isn't only a place.

It's the people who raised you, the memories you hold onto, the traditions you continue, and the pieces of yourself you carry wherever you go.

Together, We Are Aloha Pikake

Aloha Pikake is where our two creative worlds come together.

Armanda creates through fabric and sewing. Leinaʻala creates through design and storytelling.

And somewhere between the sewing machine, printer, fabric, sketches, late-night ideas, mistakes, lessons, laughter, and plenty of “Wait...what if we tried this?” moments, we're building something that belongs to both of us.

We're still growing. We're still learning. And we're still dreaming about what Aloha Pikake can become.

But no matter how much the business grows, we want the heart behind it to remain the same:

Family. Creativity. Our roots. And aloha.

From our ʻohana to yours, mahalo for being here, supporting our small business, and allowing something created by our hands and inspired by our story to become part of yours.
